On my mind…

-why do we bring people who are not experiencing life threatening or altering illness or injury to emergency rooms via ambulance?

-if fully armed unmanned drone aircraft were affordable would the second amendment protect our citizens's rights to own one?

-does the NFL's desire to have their coaching ranks be filled with a racial mix more closely resembling the general American population trickle down to the player ranks?

-did everybody's heart stop when half the lights went out during the Super Bowl or was that just me and my Doomsday mentality?

-if the sun is killing us, why isn't everybody dead?

-has Hillary Clinton has been campaigning for President for twenty-eight years or was I born last night?

-why do I only recognize only 10% of Hollywood's "stars?"

-when did labor unions, communists and the welfare crowd get in bed together, and where was I when it happened?

-am I the only one who misses being surprised by who is on the other end of the line when the phone rings?

-or having the person on the other end of the line have to ask if my daughter is home?

-how come I only learned of the "debt ceiling and fiscal cliff" last year?

-why do I listen to talk radio when it is obvious their goal is to antagonize listeners and create division?

-what posesses me to try and figure this stuff out?

You are getting TOO OLD and you need a hobby!  But who are these actors anyway?????

  • B says:

-Because we're not treating them, we're treating their imaginary lawyer.
    -Reductio ad absurdum.
    -I lol'd.
-Since everything gives you cancer now, I stopped worrying about it.  Sort of.  I still apply sunscreen to my receding hairline though.
-Occupy Wall Street, but possibly earlier than that.
-It's the only reason she's still married.  Ambition > principles.
    -I can only imagine.
-Honestly don't have an answer for that one.
-Can't help it- auditory train wreck effect.

Sleeping then and now
Most of the EMT's and FF's I know work a minimum of 24 hours straight and are on call all night long, I know of several cases where they had call all night long, so after going without sleep for so long, who can blame them. Put yourself in their boots before you say anything.

Sleeping then and now
most of the emt's and firefighters I know work 24 hour shifts and are on call at all times of the night. Does the person know what their shift was like during the night. I personally know of cases where the fire dept only got 1 to 1/12 hours of sleep because of call outs…

Why EMT’s are the true masters in the bedroom
I guess that means I'm golden... I've done three out of the four (police, fire, EMS)... so I *AM* the ultimate stud. After you, of course...
