Wait a minute!

A few decades ago firefighters were asked to include EMS to their skill set. It took some time but it’s now pretty much expected that firefighters be medically trained.

It’s kind of funny how if a firefighter complains about doing EMS he is considered lazy or behind the times. If a paramedic or EMT balks at firefighting though it’s accepted.

Now we have Community Paramedic in  being crammed down our throats under the name of Mobile Intensive Health care and the medics who speak against it are the bad guys.

Just when I thought I had things figured out I realize that I don’t know nothing.

I need to speak with you. You survived, made it out. I’m really struggling after almost 5 years. I don’t know what to do so I can keep my cert and still get it back together. This is the only thing I love, and I’m so afraid to lose it.

Once again, Michael, a simple, caring action probably helped more than any medical intervention.

Michael, you have not lost your touch. :-) PS. Last time I rode in one of your "cadillacs", I was a pretty good girl. I only vomited a little bit. The blood stayed in a contained area. Aren't you proud of me? LOL. PS I thanked Stephanie and the other EMT too. Take care Buddy.…
